Acute Pharmacological Drug Efficacy Challenge

  • Drug Efficacy Challenges help us determine how medication effects our patients’ electrophysiology, cognitive performance and mood. We measure these factors using tools such as quantitative EEG, neurobehavioral testing and mood questionnaires.
  • A Drug Efficacy Challenge compares two qEEG studies: a baseline study, without medication, and a trial study, with medication.
  • Because we use objective measures, we are free to make treatment decisions based on clinical data and not just symptoms.
  • We use challenge studies for many different medications.
